Lualhati Torres Bautista (born Manila, Philippines, December LUALH 2, 1945) is one of the foremost ATI Filipino female novelists in the BAUTIS history of contemporary TA Philippine literature. Her novels include Dekada ’70, Bata, Bata, Pa'no ka Ginawa?, and ‘Gapô. With almost four decades of writing novels, short stories, and screenplays (including LUALH “Bulaklak sa City Jail”) under her belt, ATI BAUTIS TA Bautista has made a significant impact in the field of contemporary Filipino literature. Her works are known for its feminist themes and the exploration of socio-political issues One of the country’s foremost historical novelists, Ty-Casper LINDA attributes her writing to her maternal TY grandmother, who filled her growing CASPER years with stories of the Philippine revolution and the country’s struggle for independence. Her works include the historical novel DreamEden and the political LINDA novels Awaiting Trespass, Wings of TY Stone, A Small Party in a Garden, CASPER and Fortress in the Plaza. She has also published three collections of short stories which present a cross- section of Filipino society. Ingrid Chua-Go is a Filipino-Chinese INGRID fashion and lifestyle blogger based in CHUA- Manila, Philippines. She is known for her GO fashion blog The Bag Hag Diaries and has a television show of which she is the host, that airs on Star World, a division of Fox International Channels, with the same name. After graduating from Saint Mary's College INGRID with a bachelor's degree in communication CHUA- arts, Chua-Go worked in broadcast news in GO Hong Kong, before becoming the managing editor of Metro Weddings Magazine, a top bridal publication in the Philippines. After she left Metro Weddings in 2007, she started blogging full-time. GILDA CORDER Gilda Cordero-Fernando (June O 4, 1930 – August 27, 2020) was a FERNAN Filipino writer, visual artist, DO fashion designer and publisher. GILDA Gilda Cordero-Fernando is Philippine culture's CORDER towering figure, for the broad, impressive O range of her accomplishments. She has written FERNAN and illustrated children's books. In 1978, GCF DO Books, her own nationalist imprint, began publishing a series of well-thumbed volumes on Philippine cultural history. Playwright, writer, poet, JESSICA and multimedia performance artist HAGEDO Jessica Hagedorn was born and RN raised in the Philippines, moving to the U.S. with her mother as a teenager. It was then, at 14 years old, that she started to write poetry more seriously. Early on her focus was on writing poetry and plays, as well as making music. She JESSICA HAGEDO moved to New York City in her late 20s to pursue these interests. Her first play RN was produced the same year. She’s since produced three more plays.
