Compile and input data to maintain seasonal eCommerce product information databases.
Coordinate with creative team in creation and maintenance of creative product databases.
Work closely with Site Management and Website Merchandising team to ensure correct site
layout.
Interface with inventory management and merchandising teams to ensure site data integrity
and correct product set-up.
Create and maintain change forms to ensure database consistency working closely with
Creative team.
Interface with site managers, project management and e-technology team for timely database
uploads, site deployments, and reporting of issues.
Manage database uploads to all environments (merchant preview, dev, and QA testing, and
production).
Coordinate and participate in weekly site testing in order to ensure correct data integrity.

What I’ve taken from this assignment
This assignment has taught me that there’s different jobs out there, no
matter what field/ industry you’re interested in, you can always use the
information you had learned during this semester relating to technology
in your job. I also had found out that these IT related jobs in retail pays
really well and are usually very similar to each other regarding soft
skills and the technical skills. This assignment was definitely helpful
because it serves as a job hunt for me, a soon-to-be B.A graduate in
Business. It showed me what jobs are out there, how much they pay,
and what is required of me both in my soft skills and technical skills, in
which I had already taken some classes in.
