RESEARCH QUESTIONS

● How can the virtual impulse voltage lab be more intelligent?

● How can virtual lab reduce development costs as well as improving product quality?
● How can it be improve so that it is useful and accurate for both education purpose and for the
testing engineer?
OBJECTIVES
1. To add more intelligence to the present
model
 Method of Triggering(Trigatron)
 Cl, Cg, Rf, Rt,Vo.
 STP, Humidity, Sphere diameter,
include tolerance.

2. To visit a physical setup and study the

configuration, parameters and
implement in virtual lab
 CPRI – HV Lab, Bangalore
 CPRI – UHV Lab, Hyderabad

3. To collect experimental data to help us

in quickly arriving near to our desired
values.
PLANNED METHODOLOGY

1. Data Collection
2. HTML(Hypertext Markup Language)
3. CSS(Cascading Style Sheets)
4. Node.js(JavaScript)
EXPECTED OUTCOME

● A Virtual Impulse High Voltage Generator that replicates the real life lab that can be access from
any place all around the world.
● A more intelligent, user friendly and more informative which will help the students get deeper
understanding and better industry preparation for students studying high voltage engineering.
● A virtual lab where Test engineer can simulate, experiment, gain insights and predict withstand
voltages contributing to safer and more reliable electrical systems.
