ABSTRACT:
In today’s fast-paced world, working parents face a challenge of balancing childcare and busy schedules. With this in mind, we
have created an innovative baby management system based on Internet of Things. This system functions by using
sophisticated technology to automate tasks hence ensuring babies safety and comfort. The major features are sound sensor that
results into automatic rocking cradle; integrated speaker which can play lullabies to a baby. The system is continuously
monitored for its temperature and humidity by sensors sending the caregiver a summary notification about their vicinity while
motion detectors are present alongside it. A Direct Current fan ensures that the room doesn’t become too hot or cold while rain
sensor detects wet pampers. Components like cradle swing, Direct Current fan operations, or even playing of lullabies can be
remotely controlled through web interface that consists of Hyper Text Markup Language, Cascading Style Sheets and
JavaScript languages. It implies that one can easily control his infant’s immediate surroundings from anywhere around the
world without hassle. Using modern techniques such as efficient processing using tinyML or live video streaming facilitated
by ESP32 demonstrates its advanced technology dimensions. This all-inclusive monitoring has provided a new dimension to
childcare technology thus relieving anxiety among workers as well as inexperienced parents.

COMPONENTS About
components used
Child Detection Technique(ESP 32-cam):

• The system utilizes a child detection technique

implemented with an ESP32 and a Pi camera. This
technology provides parents with a live-stream
option, offering visual confirmation of the baby's
presence in the cradle.

COMPONENTS
Temperature Sensor(DHT – 11):
• The system monitors the baby's body
temperature using a temperature sensor,
providing real-time information to ensure the
baby is in a comfortable environment.

COMPONENTS
Automatic Swinging of Baby Bassinet: The system
incorporates automatic swinging functionality for the
baby bassinet, ensuring a soothing and comforting
experience for the infant.

COMPONENTS
Sound Sensor:
• It detects the sound and convert them into electrical
signals to process the signal.
• It is used to detect whether the child is crying or not.
• If child is crying then it immediately swing the cradle.

COMPONENTS
Movement Detection Sensor(PIR Sensor):
The system includes a movement detection sensor
to monitor the baby's movements, offering insights
into the baby's activity and well-being.

COMPONENTS
• GSM module: It is used to send an SMS alert to
the caretakers mobile phones.
• This system provides real time notifications allowing
prompt responses to ensure infant safety and well-
being.

COMPONENTS
Diaper Moisture Detection: A moisture sensor is employed to
access the moisture level in the baby's diaper. Notifications are
sent to parents when specific conditions are met, ensuring
timely diaper changes.

COMPONENTS
ESP32 Module:
It is a powerful microcontroller chip.
• It is used to transfer the data of infant
to dynamic webpage by using wireless
communication.
COMPONENTS
Real-time Supervision through Webpage:
A user-friendly webpage, developed using HTML
and CSS, allows parents/guardians to supervise the
baby in real-time. This feature enhances remote
monitoring and parental control.
