evidence.
THREE TYPES OF CLAIM: FACT, POLICY, and VALUE.
A Claim of Fact answers the question: Can this claim be
proven or supported by research?
A Claim of Policy answers: What should be done or changed
to improve the situation?
A Claim of Value answers: Is it good or bad?
Characteristics of a Good Claim:
argumentative, debatable, specific, focused,
interesting, engaging and logical.
