BRANDING
CO-BRANDING

capture the synergism of combining two
well-known brands into a third, unique
branded product. co-branding strategy will
introduce a new product or service to the market.
This product or service’s characteristics are then
rooted in the attributes and core competencies of
the two cooperating
brands.
BRANDS THAT USE
CO-BRANDING
Balenciaga x Crocs Nike x Apple

Apple x Mastercard Levis x Pinterest

Airbnb x Flipboard Burger King x Mcdonalds

Bonne Bell x Dr. Pepper

BALENCIAGA X
CROCS
This high fashion brand uses Crocs’
accessible shoe brand to expand and
reinforce its experimental ideas. Then, it
places those experiments in public spaces to
create excitement and engagement with the
audiences for both brands.
APPLE X
MASTERCARD
MasterCard became the first credit card firm to allow
consumers to save their credit and debit cards on
Apple Pay in order to gain a competitive advantage.
With the introduction of the Apple Card, this
partnership continues to benefit both Apple and
Mastercard. MasterCard not only continues to assist a
major consumer tech developer through this
agreement, but it also changes with its customers'
purchasing habits.
AIRBNB X
FLIPBOARD
The continuous campaign recently resulted in
another co-created product, Trips, which allows
Airbnb customers to connect with hosts who share
shared interests and book these experiences while
traveling. This relationship exemplifies how
organizations may provide their customers with
information that is tailored to their specific
interests, resulting in increased product utilization.
BONNE BELL X DR.
PEPPER
While flavor and cosmetics are not often associated,
this ad works because overlapping target demographic
consumers may easily become eager to try an
economical and enjoyable product like as Dr. Pepper
lip gloss.
NIKE X APPLE
It's a brilliant co-branding move that helps both
companies provide a better customer experience
— and with the rise of fitness monitoring
technology, Nike is ahead of the game by making
it simple for athletes to track while playing.
LEVI’S X PINTEREST
The collaboration provides a true and personalized
brand interaction, which is difficult to find in today's
increasingly digital environment. Levi's uses
Pinterest, a popular social site with millions of users
interested in visual offerings, to address these
objectives through digital customisation and visual-
focused boards.
BURGER KING X
MCDONALD’S
Although the ad was criticised for confusing
Burger King customers, it was an excellent
example of two competitive businesses
collaborating to benefit a charity. Because they
collaborated for a good cause, audiences
embraced the campaign and spread the word all
over the internet.
