My warmest greetings to the school officials, administrators,
faculty members and advisers, teachers, parents, and guardians of the
graduates and completers of School Year 2021-2022!

On behalf of the Department of Education (DepEd), I am

proud to celebrate the successes, milestones, and achievements of this
batch’s graduates and promoted students in this year’s End-of-School-Year
rites with the theme “K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering
Resilience in the Face of Adversity.”

In the past six years, we committed to our mandate to

enhance the quality of education, broaden its access, and ensure its
relevance in the rapidly changing world.

DepEd endeavored to address each challenge by instituting

programs and reforms in the Department. We have fully implemented the
K to 12 curriculum and the aggressive reforms of Sulong EduKalidad to
produce globally competitive learners and teachers. We also expanded
our mission for accessible education by strengthening the Alternative
Learning System (ALS) and the Last Mile Schools programs to reach more
Filipinos. Likewise, we also established the National Academy of Sports
(NAS) and Education Futures Unit to create more opportunities for our
learners and anticipate the future of the education system in the country.

Committed to sustaining this momentum, the Department

developed and implemented the Basic Education-Learning Continuity
Program (BE-LCP), where we offered various learning modalities and
produced award-winning initiatives such as the DepEd TV and DepEd
Commons at the height of the pandemic. Eventually, the Department held
its ground against an unprecedented challenge in basic education as we
progressively expand the reintroduction of face-to-face classes in the
country.

Indeed, education is truly a shared responsibility. This is

why we express our utmost appreciation to our dear parents and teachers
for being our partners in nurturing the youth throughout the years.

To the Class of 2022, resilience is in your blood. You have

survived one of the toughest times in human history, yet still embraced
education as your primary tool to success. I believe that with your passion
and purpose, you can reach your dreams and change the world.

May you keep on harnessing and imparting wisdom as

together,

To finish an academic year during this time of

uncertainty is tough but to outshine any challenge brings a step
closer to one’s aspirations and dreams. Flourishing and thriving
through unforeseen tests without breaking makes one a true
champion. These have been proven in the midst of the
pandemic. All remain victorious.

My dear learners , always listen to your inner gods

and goddesses. Follow your path. Be the shakers who change
the future. Accept failures but come back strong. Do not stop
surging for your success and what you can achieve tomorrow.

highlights our experience that no adversity can thwart us from
accomplishing something great. Our proactive attitude and growth
mindset unmasked opportunities to discover new knowledge and
boost our potential to pursue and achieve our vision and mission in
the Department of Education. Indeed, resilience is the way froward!

To our students, there is a wide horizon of

opportunities waiting for you. The world is a vast place for you to
develop your skills and excel in your chosen field. Be wise and
strategic in choosing your career path. Never stop learning,
exploring, persevering, and challenging yourself. Follow that path
that leads you to your dreams. Become storytellers of your success
but remain humble and grateful. Aim high and hit the mark!

To our dear teachers, never cease inspiring and

A day to celebrate! A day to give thanks! My sincerest

and warmest congratulations to the completers and
graduates of School Year 2021-2022!
Graduation represents the culmination of a journey and
the attainment of a goal. It is an exciting period in a person's
life and an array of feelings. Despite the overwhelming
consequences of the pandemic, this global crisis has also
been an extraordinary time for learning. We are learning how
adaptable and resilient educational system, policy makers,
teachers, learners, and families can be.
Today is the most significant moment of your lives to
recognize all you r efforts and hard work as you burned your
midnight candles to acquire knowledge, skills, and
competencies, to develop further your attitudes and values
to overcome the challenges amidst pandemic and to look
forward to a brighter future.

Prayer Panginoon, aming Makapangyarihan at Mapagmahal na
Ama, ang aming mga puso ay puspos ng galak sa araw ito na
ipinagkaloob Mo sa amin. Lahat po ng mga bagay na Inyong ibinibigay
sa amin ay patunay ng Inyong walang hanggang pagmamahal.
Salamat po sa isa na namang taong magtatapos, ganundin sa lahat ng
mga kaalamang aming natutunan. Salamat po sa aming mga
magulang, sa kanilang walang sawang pagsasakripisyo at
pagmamahal sa amin. Salamat po sa aming mga guro, punong-guro at
iba pang pinuno ng paaralan, sa kanilang walang kapagurang
pagtuturo sa amin ng iba’t ibang kaalaman at kagandahang-asal.
Salamat po sa aming mga kamag-aral at kaibigan, sa kanilang
pagbibigay-buhay sa aming paglalakbay. Salamat po sa aming mahal
na paaralan, sa kanyang pag-aaruga at pagbibigay ng pangalawang
tahanan. Panginoon, marami po kaming pinagdaanan. Sa loob ng anim
na taon, iba’t ibang uri ng problema ang aming naranasan. Naniniwala
po kami, Ama, na sa aming paglalakbay sa buhay, may mga pagsubok
kaming kailangang lampasan. Bagamat minsan ay gusto naming
magtago, alam naming hindi ito maaaring takasan. Sapagkat sa Iyong
karunungan, ang mga bagyo, pasakit at mga paghihirap na ito ang
siyang magiging daan upang kami ay mas maging matatag at
mabuting nilalang. Salamat po sa pag-antabay sa amin. Taos-puso po
kaming humihingi ng tawad sa lahat ng aming kasalanan. Ang mga ito
po ay bunga ng aming karupukan. Tulungan Niyo po kaming hanapin
ang kapayapaan at yakapin ang kabutihan. Sa araw pong ito ng aming
pagtatapos, lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat Sa inyo. Buksan Niyo
po ang aming mga mata upang makita ang kagandahan sa aming
paligid. Buksan Niyo po ang aming mga tainga sa pakikinig sa lahat
ng mga mensaheng ibibigaysa pagtitipong ito. Naniniwala po kami na
ito ay galing sa Inyo. Buksan Niyo rin po ang aming mga isipan upang
piliin naming matutunan ang mga bagay na naaayon sa Inyong
kagustuhan. Higit sa lahat, buksan Niyo po ang aming mga puso, para
mas lalo naming mahalin ang mga bagay na ipinagkakaloob Niyo sa
amin katulad ng aming pag-aaral. Sa amin pong mga gagawing
desisyon sa hinaharap, patuloy Niyo po kaming gabayan. Nawa’y
gawin mo kaming mga instrumento upang ang Inyong pag-ibig ay
patuloy na manatili sa lahat ng panahon ng aming buhay. Lahat pong
ito ay aming ipinapanalangin, sa ngalan ng Iyong Anak na si “Jesus.
