INTRODUCTION
There is a strong belief in society that parental involvement has a strong positive
effect on students’Academic performance. Student learning not only takes place in
schools but also the contexts ofFamilies and communities play a great role (Ma,
Shen, Krenn, Hu & Yuan, 2016).
Therefore, parentalInvolvement is seen as quite significant in students’ learning
and academic achievement. The relationship between parental involvement and
academic achievement has long been an area of Research across the world
(Boonk, Gijselaers, Ritzen& Brand-Gruwel, 2018; Epstein, 1991; Roy and Giraldo-
García, 2018).
According to Hickman (1999) etal. There are seven types of parent involvement:
(a) parent as Communicator, (b) parent as supporter of activities, (c) parent as
learner, (d) parent as Advocate, € parent as decision maker, (f) parent as
volunteer/professional, and (g) parent as home activities teacher. One may ask if
this is being involved with our children or Being involved with our children’s
school?
A fine point, but perhaps an important one. Other factors need to be considered in

Parental involvement is widely recognized as a crucial factor in student success.


However, the extent to which parental involvement impacts student achievement
remains a topic of debate. This study aims to investigate the relationship between
parental involvement and student achievement, identifying the most effective forms of
involvement and exploring potential disparities.

 To what extent does parental involvement impact student academic


achievement?

 Which specific aspects of parental involvement (e.g., attending parent-teacher


conferences, helping with homework, volunteering in the classroom) have the
greatest impact on student achievement
OBJECTIVES
 Identify the most effective forms of parental involvement in enhancing student achievement.
 Evaluate relationship between parental involvement and student academic achievement.

METHODOLOGY:
 Survey Design: Questionnaire survey will be administered to parents and teachers,
collecting data on parental involvement, student achievement, and demographic
information.
 Data Analysis: Descriptive statistics

1. Emotional Development: Parental involvement supports students' emotional well-being and self-esteem.

SAMLLING

Simple random sampling will be used to collect data. The parents of every junior at
Government primary school were asked to participate in the study. They will give overview of
the study and tell what Their involvement would be entail.
POPULATION
Population of the study comprises primary school of taluka Kazi Ahmed

50% of Government primary schools of the taluka kazi Ahmed
