Transforming Agriculture

for a Sustainable
Tomorrow
Shohruh Roziqov
Problems:
Limited awareness and understanding of
sustainable farming practices and
technologies lead to inefficient agricultural
outcomes and environmental degradation.

The drying up of the Aral Sea has severely

degraded the surrounding environment, while
the neglect of climate change impacts has led
to declining agricultural productivity.

Excessive water use in cotton production

exacerbates water scarcity, particularly in
regions already struggling with limited water
resources.
Our project aims to create a digital platform connecting small-scale farmers
with sustainable agricultural practices and climate-resilient technologies

Training Modules: "Provide comprehensive training on

sustainable farming techniques and climate adaptation strategies."
Resources: "Offer access to tools, guides, and best practices for effective
agriculture."
Community Support: "Build a network of peers and experts for
ongoing advice and collaboration."
Marketplace: "Enable farmers to sell their produce directly to
consumers, ensuring fair prices and reducing food waste."

How It Works:
Farmers will access the platform via mobile or web applications, where
they can engage in training, access resources, and connect with
markets.
The platform will leverage digital tools to offer personalized
recommendations, real-time weather updates, and market trends.
Our objectives:
Objective 1: Empower Small-Scale Farmers
Provideing farmers with the knowledge and tools needed to adopt
sustainable practices and improve agricultural outcomes.
Objective 2: Enhance Food Security
Increase productivity and resilience of small-scale farms to ensure
stable food supplies and reduce food insecurity
Objective 3: Minimize Environmental Impact
Promote practices that reduce environmental degradation, such as
efficient water use and climate-adapted farming methods.
Objective 4: Reduce Food Waste
Create a direct marketplace for farmers to sell their
produce, ensuring fair prices and minimizing food
waste.
Expected Impacts
1.Impact on Farmers:
Empower small-scale farmers by providing access to sustainable
farming practices and resources, leading to improved crop yields and
economic stability.
2.Environmental Benefits:
Reduce environmental degradation by promoting efficient water use
and climate-resilient practices, contributing to the restoration of
degraded lands and reduction of carbon footprint.
3.Economic Impact:
Create a direct marketplace for farmers, ensuring fair prices for their
produce and reducing food waste, which enhances local economies and
supports sustainable livelihoods
4.Broader Community Benefits:
Enhance food security and community resilience by increasing the
availability of locally produced, sustainable food sources.
5.Long-Term Vision:
Position the platform as a model for sustainable agriculture, with the
potential for replication in other regions facing similar challenges.
My name is Shohruh, and I have a deep-rooted passion for agriculture and
climate change

Growing up in a village, I gained

extensive hands-on experience in
agriculture on my family’s small
farm. This experience has shaped
my understanding of sustainable
farming practices

My interest in climate change was sparked by an international training

organized by the UNDP, where I learned about the global impact of climate
change and the importance of sustainable practices.

In this slide, I will present a project

concept that aims to empower small-
scale farmers by connecting them with
sustainable agricultural practices and
climate-resilient technologies.
