    What are Video Games?
    • A video game is an
    electronic game that
    involves interaction with a
    user interface or input
    device (such as a joystick,
    controller, keyboard, or
    motion sensing device) to
    generate visual feedback
    from a display device.
    TIPS ON GAMEPLAY DESIGN
    a. Determine your goals
    -What are you trying to do with this game?
    -What story are you trying to tell?
    -What do you want your players to feel at the end?
    -What kind of experience do you want it to be?
    -What do you want to get out of the project?
    b. Interest of the audience
    -What does your audience prefer to play?
    c. Create one for different devices
    -Where do you want the game to be played? PC, Mobile, or Console?
    d. Select and Consider the Genre
    -What genre do you want the game to be? An FPS, Platformer, RPG,
    or Social Game?
    WHAT ARE DIGITAL PAINTINGS?
    • It is a method of
    creating an artwork
    using a computer. It
    typically combines a
    computer, a graphics
    tablet, and software of
    choice. The artist uses
    painting and drawing
    with the stylus that
    comes with the
    graphics tablet to
    create 2D paintings
    within a digital art
    SOFTWARE/APPLICATIONS USED IN DIGITAL ART

    • GIMP- is a free and open-


    source raster graphics
    editor used for image
    manipulation and image
    editing, free-form drawing,
    transcoding between
    different image file formats,
    and more specialized tasks.
    It is not designed to be
    used for drawing, though
    some artists and creators
    have used it for such.

    • Microsoft Paint is a
    simple raster graphics
    editor that has been
    included with all versions of
    Microsoft Windows. The
    program opens, modifies
    and saves image files in
    Windows bitmap, JPEG, GIF,
    PNG, and single-page TIFF
    formats.

    • Adobe Photoshop is a
    raster graphics editor
    developed and published
    by Adobe Inc. for Windows
    and macOS. It was
    originally created in 1987
    by Thomas and John Knoll.
    Since then, the software
    has become the most used
    tool for professional digital
    art, especially in raster
    graphics editing.

    • These are social


    media and apps used
    for different purposes
    like medical, scientific
    and educational
    purposes.

    • Windows Live Movie


    Maker is a discontinued
    video editing software
    program by Microsoft. It was
    first included in Windows Me
    on September 14, 2000 and
    in Windows XP on October
    25, 2001.
    SOFTWARE/APPLICATIONS USED IN VIDEO EDITING

    • Imovie is a free video editing


    application made by Apple for the
    Mac, the iPhone, and the iPad. It
    includes a range of video effects
    and tools like color correction and
    image stabilization, but is designed
    to be accessible to users with little
    or no video editing experience.
