Introduction
• National Greening Program (NGP) was
launched last February 01, 2011 by
virtue of Executive Order No. 26. NGP
aims to plant 1.5 Billion trees in 1.5
Million hectares of public land in the
country in six years, starting from 2011
to 2016. NGP envisioned to attain a
sustainable human development and
economic and ecological security of
Filipinos.

•Expanded through Executive
Order 193 was then signed on
November 12, 2015. Relative hereto,
the Enhanced National Greening
Program aims to rehabilitate all the
remaining 7.1 million hectares of
unproductive, denuded, and degraded
forestlands from 2016-2028 and
maintenance and protection of
existing projects and forestlands.
