EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES


Participants will be able to:

- promote experiential learning and active learning built upon


a foundation of interdisciplinary and constructivist learning
which mimics real world learning and moves the learning
away from rote learning.

- Assist and orient teachers on importance of experiential


learning and make them realize that it can be implemented
with existing resources.

through application of Kolb’s experiential learning

- Help teachers to develop the competencies and skills to

USE OF S.M.A.R.T TECHNIQUE:

While selecting the Stem Verb from Bloom’s Taxonomy,


please ensure that the Verb of the Learning Outcome is:

▪SPECIFIC
▪MEASURABLE ( to facilitate assessment)
▪ACHIEVABLE ( can go through the complete Learning Cycle)
▪REALISTIC: ( must not be vague-like ‘ understand’ ‘realize’)
▪TIME BOUND: (Must be framed based on the level )

➢ Find a few other colleagues and form a small team.
➢ Place several sheets of blank paper and a pair of scissors in
the center of the team. Do not give the objects to any one
team member.
➢ Tell the team they have a problem to solve.
➢ They have to cut the paper to end up with the shape shown in
the next slide.
➢ There is only one rule: they are only allowed to make ONE cut
with scissors and it must be a straight cut.
➢ Give them seven minutes to complete the task and observe
what happens.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING USING
VISUALIZATION
The RP will ask all the participants to close their eyes and concentrate
- She/he will read the poem with soft voice and with emotions
- The RP will now instruct the participants to open their eyes and draw
whatever comes to their mind on the A4 sheet given to them. There
will not be any discussion in the group.
- Once the drawing is done, they will compare all their work and
discuss the diversity.
- One person will summarize from each table
- RP will summarize the whole process
