1998
- Originally called DISPLAY was developed by Thomas and John
Knoll for Adobe Systems.
Late 80’s
- It was made for both Windows and Apple operating software
and was originally considered a pixel imaging program.
2015
- Photoshop was celebrated its 25th anniversary and has
sparked the creativity of millions of graphic designers all over
the world because of its fast, reliable and robust editing tools
1. Setting
up
documents
•When you start Photoshop CS6, the first
thing that you should do is create a new
document. This can be done by clicking
FILE > NEW
Shortcut keys:
Ctrl + N for Windows
Cmd + N for Apple
•After clicking NEW, the next step is to set
the parameters of the document. For this
exercise, click PRESET > Choose
International Paper >Click size, and
Choose A3 paper.
•Other presets include defaults
for photos, web, mobile and
video.
