    In this slide we are going see about


    awareness on Cyber Security and some tips
    to protect your computer for hackers.

    Before that we can learn what is Cyber Security

    Computer security, cyber security , digital


    security or information technology security (IT
    security) is the protection of computer
    systems and networks from attack by
    malicious actors that may result in
    unauthorized information disclosure, theft of,
    or damage to hardware's and software's.
    WHY CYBER SECURITY AWARENESS IS NEEDED

    • Similar to safety incidents, cyber security incidents can come with a


    hefty price tag. If you’re struggling to allocate budget to cyber security
    training, tools or talent, you should think about it through the lens of
    risk management. With an ever-rising number of cyber attacks each
    year, the risk of not educating your employees on cyber security
    awareness only continues to grow.
    • Cybercriminals are constantly finding new ways to circumvent the latest
    defensive tools and technologies, landing themselves in the inboxes
    and browsers of your employees. In 2021 alone, 85% of data breaches
    involved the human element, with 94% of malware delivered via email.

    ● Use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
    ● Double-Check That Link Before You Click
    ● Use a VPN When On Public Wi-Fi
    ● Keeps Apps and Devices Up-to-Date
    ● Don’t Jailbreak Your iPhone
    ● Don’t Store Sensitive Info on Your Phone (and Always Use a
    Passcode Lock)
    ● Use Privacy-Focused Apps
    ● Secure Your Local Network

     There is a cyber-attack occurring every 39 seconds, according to a
    study by the University of Maryland.
     1 in 3 Americans are affected by cyber-attacks every year.
     Kevin Mitnick is the most (In)Famous hacker in the world.
     9.7 million healthcare records were exposed in 2020.
     In 2020, healthcare was the most expensive industry regarding the
    cost of data breaches, totaling at $7.13 million.
