Coal Gas Urea Complex Design
Coal Gas Urea Complex Design
Supervisor: Dr. Arshad Hussain Department of Chemical Engineeirng SCME, NUST H-12
OBJECTIVE
To design a Chemical Production Plant that produces NH3 and CO2 for urea fertilizer using Coal Syn gas rather than conventional Natural Gas feedstock.
MOTIVATION
Gas curtailment to fertilizer plants Rising fertilizer demand Hiking fertilizer prices Unexploited coal deposits
(PFD)
