This person is posing as an officer from IRS Criminal Investigations! Telling people that they have a warrant out for their arrest and they have my address on file.

This is such a scam! A man calls my hm Ph# claiming to be John White with the Criminal Investigation Dept. He say the IRS has a warrant out for my arrest and my home address is under federal investigation. He says it's important for me to call him back at PH # 254-449-9277 so he can give me detail info. about my case.

Officer John White called my cell AND home number saying it was urgent thank I return call. Said that he was calling regarding an IRS warrant for my property address - scam!!

Same. I got a call saying it was the IRS and my address was under investigation. Someone needs to contact the IRS about this and let them know. It's a federal offense to impersonate an officer.

They are stating they are from the irs and have a warrant for my arrest and I need to call immediately to avoid incarceration.

this certain police officer called saying that my address was flagged and oweing money to the irs. when u call the number it rings for along time and then goes to a busy signal. it's definetly a scam. irs sends letters. not call you.
