Caller claimed to be my son, that he was in jail, had caused an accident, had a broken nose, needed bail money, asked me to call an attorney.

Person pretending to be Michael Bolton to get financial gain

Repeated texts asking if I own an address with no information about what they want.

Caller texted me to find out if I still owned a home home at a specific address. Creepy. Where did they get my name associated with an out of state address I have never been connected to?

Possibly a House Flipper. Asking if I still owned home at address....

I received an unwanted text from these people - they are probably "house flippers." They asked me if I was the owner of (insert my street address). I hope this isn't the beginning of a trend.

Received a voice message stating that I would be taken under custody by the local "cops" as there are four serious allegations pressed on me at this moment and that I needed to get back to them so that they can discuss this with out taking legal action. I called the number from a different phone. It rang and rang and no one ever picked up. Did a look up on this number and found that it was a scam

"You will be arrested and under custody by local police as there are four serious allegations against your name at this moment..." What the heck? No company name provided.

H they said they were from the Attorney General and the IRS.

Got a call saying that there is a warrant out for my arrest and the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me. Total BS as I pay my taxes!
