This is a predator call, mediacom doesnt do that

Have received four calls. Have called Mediacom four times about a box to return equipment and box never shows up. First called to cancel on 5/12 it is now 6/2/22. Local office does not answer phone.

Same complaint as previous entries. They call once per week despite my pleas for them to take me off their list. They curse at me when I ask to speak to their manager or when I ask to be taken off the list. I submitted a complaint with the FBI after two calls in one day.

Called me on my cell phone and said his name was Aryan. Sounded like he was from India. Noisy background. He wanted to "help" me with my computer because it had been compromised. I told him my computer works fine and asked him if he could read me my windows license key since he said he knew all about my computer. He rattled off a very long list of numbers and letters (bogus) and I asked him if he could tell me who my computer was registered to since he had my license key (not). He couldn't tell me that of course. When I asked for the phone number he was calling from and his name, he gave them to me willingly and even told me to google it because it was legit. Yeah, right. I told him if the phone number turned out to be fake, I would report him to all authorities. He didn't seem too concerned and asked if I would call him back. I said sure, and hung up. Not gona happen.

I have received multiple calls this time I actually received the call back number. They always say they are calling to help me will tech support on my computers. I don't think so. Its a scam.

Indian-speaking female has called 3x this week as Microsoft technology supporter for my problem. I do not have any MS problems and never requested help. Continues to call me despite my stating I need no help.

They continue to call my number and they are very hard to understand, with a very noisy background. I have requested that they take my number off their list.
