They state they are loan "counselors" but they are not. This business solicits for a law firm to do loan modifications. They claim their service is free but their main objective is to get you to fax your income and mortgage information. They then call you back and pitch you on the attorney service. I believe that they are unlawfully calling themselves "counselors" and conveying that they are associated with HUD...but they are not.
