I received a voicemail on my cell from this number from a woman calling herself Thalia (?) and she states that her "company" is going to take civil action against me for a unpaid debt. I called back and gave the reference number offered in the voicemail and she claimed to be collecting for a debt that I paid off last LAST YEAR. When I asked for paperwork verifying who "Marketing Associates" (or maybe Washington Associates) is, she became quite hostile and started taunting me saying "I don't need your money...I pay my bills" and so on. I eventually ended up hanging up on her and she called me back from a 901 (Memphis) number.

These people are a scam. They called my job stating that this was thier third call and I have been here at work. They left a message that I have a ase out and they are trying to sue me. They are full of it. I don't owe anyone anything.
