Synopsis
Filipino American actor, writer, producer and now director — Dante Basco — perhaps best known for the role as Rufio in 1991 movie Hook with Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams, has spent years in the entertainment industry, along side his brothers, building to this outstanding directorial debut. Dante has always dedicated himself to Filipino American representation in media, and telling stories of his community to the nation. He and his brothers starred in 2001 film The Debut, the first Filipino American film to be released theatrically nationwide, and one of the first feature films to take place within the Filipino American community.
