Synopsis

THE CONNECTION tells the story of real-life Marseilles magistrate Pierre Michel and his relentless crusade to dismantle the most notorious drug smuggling operation in history: the French Connection. In his crosshairs is charismatic and wealthy kingpin, Gatean "Tany" Zampa, who runs the largest underground heroin trade into the States. Though the fearless and tenacious Michel, aided by a task force of elite cops, will stop at nothing--including boldly orchestrated drug raids, devastating arrests, and exacting interrogations--to ensure the crime ring's demise, Zampa's "La French" always seems one step ahead. As La French mounts its retaliation, Michel will be forced to make the most difficult decision of his life: to continue waging his war, or ensure his family's safety, before it's too late.

Per Theater Chart: Perfect Dreams

May 20th, 2015

I'll See You In My Dreams

Pitch Perfect 2 opened in first place on the overall chart and matched that on the per theater chart earning an average of $19,930. I'll See You in My Dreams placed second with an average of $16,447 in three theaters. Its reviews suggest it has at least some potential to expand. Pather Panchali was the only holdover in the $10,000 club with $14,793 in its lone theater during its second week of release. Mad Max: Fury Road earned an average of $12,271. It is not that common that we have two wide releases in the $10,000 club. Every Secret Thing was the final film in the $10,000 with $11,083 in one theater. More...
