On social media, Sunday's premiere was also the most-tweeted-about episode of the show ever, with more than 5 million Tweets, and 11 million mentions throughout the course of the weekend,
HBO said in a statement.
According to TorrentFreak, that distinction belonged to "The Walking Dead," followed by "The Flash." It's probable this will change soon, however, as
HBO prepares to launch the final and most-anticipated season of "Game of Thrones" on April 14.
HBO says that the documentary "delves deep into the mud and blood to reveal the tears and triumphs involved in the challenge of bringing the fantasy world of Westeros to life in the very real studios, fields and car-parks of Northern Ireland." It further adds that the documentary will focus on the "trenches of production", including the extreme shoot schedules and environments that actos of the show had to face.
HBO has been meticulous about avoiding spoilers for its premiere franchise so it is no surprise the newly released pictures do not reveal anything beyond the characters who will be returning.
