The National Pregnancy Registry for Antidepressants (844-405-6185) is studying amitriptyline (Elavil), amoxapine (Asendin), bupropion (Forfivo XL and Wellbutrin), Citalopram (Celexa), clomipramine (Anafranil), desipramine (Norpramin), desvenlafaxine (Prisiq), doxepin (Sinequan), escitalopram (Lexapro), fluvoxamine (Luvox), fluoxetine (Prozac), imipramine (Tofranil), isocarboxazid (Marplan), levomilnacipran (Fetzima), maprotiline (Ludiomil), mirtazapine (Remeron), nefazodone (Serzone), nortriptyline (Pamelor), paroxetine (Paxil), phenelzine (Nardill), protriptyline (Vivactil), selegiline (Emsam), sertraline (Zoloft), tranylcypromine (
Parnate), trazodone (Desyrel), trimipramine (Surmontil), venlafaxine (Effexor), and vilazodone (Viibryd).
Older medications for depression include tricyclics (Elavil, Pamelor) and MAO inhibitors (Nardil,
Parnate), but these medications are rarely used, since the newer drugs are more effective and have fewer side effects for most patients.
Ding and colleagues added a new piece of knowledge to the field, achieving successful fibroblasts conversion into iCM using a single factor (Oct4) and a chemical cocktail comprising a TGF[beta] inhibitor (SB431542) in combination with a GSK3 inhibitor (CHIR99021), an inhibitor of lysine-specific demethylase 1 (
Parnate) and a cAMP pathway activator (forskolin) [93].
Medications used for depression include phenelzine (Nardil), tranylcypromine (
Parnate), and others.
Tranylcypromine, marketed since the 1960s as
Parnate, Inhibited initial herpes infection in animal tests, reduced flare-ups in previously infected animals and rendered them less infectious to others, researchers report in the Dec.
2) Monamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs): They were also the first medications used to treat "Reactive Depression" and include Phenelzine (Nardil), Selegiline (Emsam) and Tranylcypromine (
Parnate).
Monoamine phenelzine (Nardil); Increase oxidase tranylcypromine (
Parnate); norepinephrine, inhibitors isocarboxazid (Marplan) serotonin, and (MAOIs) dopamine.
* Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI), typically phenelzine (Nardil) or tranylcypromine (
Parnate), are antidepressants used for panic disorder, social anxiety disorder or PTSD that does not respond to other treatments.
* "Monitor appropriately and observe closely for clinical worsening, suicidality or unusual changes in behavior for all patients who are started on antidepressant therapy." (
Parnate, MAOI)
* Monoamine oxidase inhibitors, such as phenelzine (Nardil), tranylcypromine (
Parnate)

Parnate (tranylcypromine sulfate) and Zantac Injection (ranitidine hydrochloride) from GlaxoSmithKline PLC (GSK).
