Hortonworks (HDP), IBM (IBM) and
RedHat (RHT) announced an Open Hybrid Architecture Initiative, a new collaborative effort the companies can use to build a common enterprise deployment model that is designed to enable big data workloads to run in a hybrid manner across on-premises, multi-cloud and edge architectures.
The consortium consists of NEC as the prime overall integrator, Netcracker,
Redhat, Juniper and Dell who will collaborate with Etisalat to deploy and rollout the second generation of NFV (Network Function Virtualisation)/ SDN (Software Defined Networking).
