Three taxa, the gammaridean amphipod Americorophium salmonis, the
cumacean Cumella vulgaris, and the polychaete family Capitellidae experienced increased abundance in harvest plots compared with reference plots both during and after harvest activities.
The genus Nalbatichtlzys Schultz 1967, as well the subgenus Nalbantius Mauge & Bauchot, 1984 (later given generic status), Schistura nalbarzti Mirza & B n rescu, 1979, and the
cumacean crustacean Cyclaspis nalhanti Petrescu, 1998, immortalized this amazing scientist and certainly no ichthyologist or loach-lover will ever forget this humble and very natural Romanian.
The benthic fauna in our samples included 14 polychaete and 1
cumacean families; 8 bivalve species, 7 gastropod species, 7 amphipod species, 4 decapod species, and 1 species of isopod.
Abundance of the amphipod Americorphium salmonis (chi square = 174.23, df = 2, P < 0.001) and polychaete Family Hesionidae (chi square = 341.18, df = 2, P< 0.001) were reduced by the presence of aquaculture gear but recovered after gear was removed, and the
cumacean Cumella vulgaris (chi square = 199.16, df = 2, P< 0.001) and polychaete Families Glyceridae (chi square = 94.75, df = 2, P< 0.001) and Opheliidae (chi square = 105.31, df = 2, P < 0.001) increased during the postgear phase in culture plots relative to reference areas.
The ostracod, Cyprideis pacifica Hartmann 1957, and the
cumacean, Coricuma nicoyensis Watling & Breedy 1988, accounted for 22.6% and 21% of the abundance, respectively.
The nocturnal emergence activity rhythm in the

Male-specific setae are found in some mysidan,

A new
cumacean (Crustacea) genus from beaches of Golfo de Nicoya, Costa Rica.
More recently, a relationship has been demonstrated between the onset of vitellogenesis and the sinking of phytodetrital matter in Leucon profundus, an abyssal
