It was very fun. It was my first time entering artfight, it seemed really interesting. I tried out my laptop to draw cuz it was just the convenient time to experiment. It was very cool to try drawing new characters.
I also got some beautiful attacks in return so thanks to them :> looking forward to the next one this year.
I think I can draw anime screencaps now ¿ Johannes and Motti. I had a doodle linework of them lying around and decided to colour it this time instead of greyscaling them as usual. The result kinda surprised me.

Had fun w dis. The original vision was to create the cover art effect in memory reboot. Cuz it was the original inspiration. But it just goes hard in it's original colours as well. I think I should've saved this one for Gwyn's birthday coming soon.
I learnt some stuff about how this bloom effect can make things look less flat and more illustrationy.
Idk why I chose a day before my exams to complete this. I'm fishing for my own attention.
Random but in case you didn't know Beyblade Burst was animated by OLM Studios which although doesn't use traditional cel animation anymore still uses traditional artwork for story boards and digitally transfers it. (And draws it in a cel style digitally).
Beyblade Burst "cel" art/storyboard sketches have been given away and sold before! I believe I remember there was a giveaway for a few cell arts near Thanksgiving a few years ago (maybe 2 years ago???).
Anyways, my sister actually found a listing for sale a few years ago of Hyde/Hearts from beyblade burst turbo. We split the cost and got it! Here he is, so happy to be able to own a one of a kind, storyboard sketch from OLM Studios of my favorite show and of one of my favorite characters! :D

Then about a year after we got it I actually found some more for sale on a Japanese site, I unfortunately didn't have money for them so I wasn't able to get them. There were multiple listings with over 30 storyboards in all. I wish I screenshoted all of them before the bid ended but I unfortunately didn't. Here's some of them that I did screenshot though!

When I saw this I instantly remembered Y. Nagamori's occasional drawings for characters or episodes, Idk if he drew these but I crave them too.
Also, this just so cool and interesting asf I'm getting a massive FOMO feeling realising I'll prolly never get my hands on these, especially for possibly my favorite episodes in beyburst cuz they feature my favs too
