tbh i think my favourite part of shiguang is how domestic they are. like, i could lie and say it's mostly because they're doomed yaoi, but i've been watching since s1 and i've loved them since s1. so that. is Not it.
idk. it's that silly aro part of my brain again. they aren't explicitly a couple but they act like one in a lot of ways. they love each other deeply. they live together and make food for each other. they share a bedroom but not a bed. they're able to work together despite their drastically different approaches to emotional situations and the ways they contrast each other that would normally cause severe conflict in relationships. i feel like they are very much the "love is an active choice to be made" ship for me. do they have romantic feelings for each other? i dunno. maybe. but they choose to be in love regardless.
