your days with anton were never boring. almost every morning, your boyfriend found a way to make you smile the minute you woke up. whether it was waking you up with kisses, making breakfast, or even surprising you with a bouquet of your favourite flowers on your bedside table, your mornings were always filled with love.

you tried to get up, but you were instantly pulled back into bed. you giggled, knowing why anton did this.

“you know there’s nothing wrong with skipping work for the day, right? it’s the weekend; we should be spending time together,” he said, pouting.

as much as you wanted to stay home with him, you knew you needed the money. “anton, it’s a short shift. i’ll be back before you know it,” you tried to laugh it off.

you hated working on weekends, hated being apart from your boyfriend, and hated not being able to spend your day kissing and lying next to him.

9:15 a.m. you were running late. you had to force yourself out of anton’s arms to get ready for work. you knew anton was kind of upset about being left alone at home. you could easily picture him pouting while lying on the shared bed.
