I am alone. I asked to be. So why do I feel empty?
Because it’s easier than being seen and known and touched and understood. It’s easier than the risk of not being seen and known and touched and understood and not being the one who chose it

do you have a published poetry book? i've followed your poems for years and they are my absolute favourite
I have two! “What We Buried” and “Crybaby.” You can find both on Amazon.
I haven’t taken a picture of myself in 3 years
Me neither. Its okay. You still exist. You’re still here.
and when noone gives it?
you live with the absence of it and you keep asking. in the meantime, lemon ices. clean sheets sometimes, too. laughter, if you can manage it. flowers.
your writing speaks to me like nothing has ever spoken to me before and i feel like you know everything about me despite having never met me
thank you for saying this. I think it means two things: that I’ve done something right to deserve hearing this from someone and that you’re so worth knowing. 🌸
"To the ones who have not loved you like you deserve, may you forget their names. May you remember your own, always." That line has held me for years now. Thank you for being you so that I could find it.
God I love you. You’re welcome.
ive been trying to find the source of this quote for far too long, and i think ive traced it back to you. "you are a better knife than you are a person" from a poem in Crybaby? is that correct? just that phrase makes me cry. often. a lot of your poems ive seen make me feel a similar way. you know how some things just stick with you and bounce around in your head until you know youre right? yeah. sorry if i’m mistaken.
Hi baby, yes, that poem is in Crybaby. You can find it there whenever you need it 🌸
this is my edit lol lowkey mad
