The way this has all the angst of your quintessential chick flick and all your fanfic tropes - I mean, I don’t know enough of Jackson Wang but why does he seem so Jackson Wang?? But that’s besides the point, which is that this was delicious in so many aspects.

I’m not always for cliche plot lines in fics but I’d fight to the death for ones that are written so well. And this is one of those rare gems that doesn’t make you roll your eyes. It made me ache and reminded me of the pain of all those dramatic romcoms that I couldn’t always relate to but I’d eat up everytime. I love that it reminds me of A Cinderella Story like the author said, and how Jungkook is perfect for any Chad Michael Murray character. I love how I was rooting for them even if I wanted to smack their heads. I love that I could feel their romance through the narratives of their memories, and how I felt the tension every time they were in the same space.

And uh, that smut? Divine 🥵 and again the writing? So smooth and a bit poetic and emotional. It was such a goood read, I couldn’t stop.
