hi! ive been having a weird issue with the 9pm occult expansion eyes. im using the "for all" versions and they'll randomly change in CAS sometimes like when choosing a different sim in the household, switching between some categories, and when saving/loading the sim from my library. its happened with both occult and non-occult sims (including a sim in werewolf form using the in the moonlight eyes). ive never had this happen w non default eyes on adult sims before

Hello! I'm working on testing things out, because you're right! They do do that! I've also never had this happen, so it might take me a bit to figure out what's going on, since none of the other non-defaults do this.

What's interesting in with my testing, when I had the mermaid ones in, it would ALWAYS swap to a mermaid color, and when I did not have the mermaid ones in, it always swapped to the default purple color??? weird

I'll take a look at the files and post an update when I figure it out! In the meantime, using the contact versions of the eyes might be the best option if you want them for everyone 🥲

Hi, I absolutely adore your 9pm eyes but I was just wondering if there was a heterochromia add on for the Historian colour variation? It seems to be the only one that doesn't have it.

Hi! There is heterochromia for the historian eyes! It appears I missed uploading it to SFS (it is on dropbox tho!) when I originally uploaded everything, but that has now been fixed, and you can download them from SFS here.

post/773955785466200064/hii-i-saw-that-a-while-ago-you-answered-an-ask hi this anon yeah im trying to get the nondefaults occult to only show up then like mermaid eyes only for mermaids

Hi! I'm so sorry it took me so long to answer this, I was waiting until I could do a full thing with screenshots and everything, but life got super busy, so I'm just gonna give you the text explanation:

Basically, to make non-default, occult only eyes, you do it the same way you'd do the regular non-defaults, but make sure you clone the default eyes for the specific occult you're making the eyes for. So, when you open s4s, choose "add CAS part swatch" for creating your file. Do not choose "create CAS standalone"! Then, select just one of the swatches from the occult eyes (filter by eye color, and then by pack). Make sure under the warehouse tab you change the secondarydisplayindex number, and under the main tab you change the swatch color so that they do not conflict with defaults.

The occults that the eyes show up for will depend on which default eyes you clone; vampires will show up for vampires and spellcasters, mermaids for mermaids, aliens for aliens, and werewolves for werewolves.

Double check that in the studio tab, under categories, the correct occult boxes are checked, and then in the warehouse tab, that also lines up with which hide for occult boxes are checked!

hii i saw that a while ago you answered an ask about cc making and i wanted to try asking one i have because i have searched a loot but i didn´t find the solution basically i´m trying to fix some non default occult (mermaid, vampire and alien) eyes that show up in every category and i want them only on those i tried in sims studio the hide for occult flags but it didn´t neither did trying to flag them while they are on my cc i just don´t know what else to do everything i found is mostly as default and even then the tutorial don't really focus on occults (and im working with non defaults which makes even less tutorials) so any help would be appreciated

Hi! I'm not 100% sure what you're asking- are you trying to make non-default (but still genetic) eyes for CERTAIN occults, but not all? Like just vampires, just mermaids, etc? When you say they show up in every category, what categories specifically are you referring to?

FASCINATING new glitch???? it put the textures of a different sim onto my sim???????

Hi! Really love your 9 PM eyes!

I was wondering if it's possible to recolor overlays for eyes in standard EA palette?

I want to use them in my game, but I don't need SR colors.

Hi there! I can add it to my list of things to do, but it will probably be relatively low priority. In the meantime, I'd recommend you grab the historian overlays, since the blues, greens, and browns from that palette are very natural and would be closer to what you're looking for!

im 10000% convinced that they put this telescope here in ravenwood to increase the number of ghosts. not pictured: the 5 other graves i already put in my inventory so the ghosts stop haunting me
