Rough concept example sketch for an aspect, a creature that’s the spirit of a star in physical form. I’ve drawn them before, but I’ve since redesigned them to be a bit more interesting (mostly making them moths lol). This one’s a main sequence yellow star

I also made hasty recolors as examples of neutron stars and black holes

I was on a 5hr flight last week so I sketched a ton of stuff but I keep forgetting to share it all, here’s to hoping I remember when I actually have my tablet someday

Holy shit I’m drawing again

^ I got lessons from a friend that’s way better than me, this was me trying the tips out

^ I got frustrated and made vent art :]

I made a rough sketch to test some coloration ideas I had for Kordani, and ended up talking with an animation expert I’m acquainted with to help me. This is the result of that coaching. You can still see the colors I was debating on in the palette in the corner

I’m not 100% on that tattoo design btw, or even if he’ll even have one

Below are some of the versions I sent as we talked

…I drew my gemsona tanzanite, specifically her design as a homeworld gem. I only wanted to see the general concept on paper so I didn’t care about refining it (or even making it good). Maybe some other time I’ll put effort into a drawing of her!

The wings are meant to be made of lightning, and the outfit was inspired by my memory of lapis lazuli’s fit

I’ve been rewatching Steven universe and I pulled out my handheld tablet again so I decided to mix the two by drawing the tablet queen herself

I drew her from memory except for the nose, I had to look her up to remember what it looks like lol

it's been less than 2 months and i already changed my logo again (new one is on the right)

i personally think it looks a lot better, and tbh a quarter circle relates a lot more to arcsin than some curvy triangle lol

actually if im not mistaken, a quarter circle is basically equal to 1 arcsin (well arcsin(1) but still) so it's perfect!
