Hey, question. How do you choose clothes for your characters? I just look at your Cyn, Nori or the same swap! Uzi and N and their clothes fit them perfectly? Where do you get refs? How do you know that this is what you need?
Ah thank you!! Honestly I’m a big costume design enthusiast lol, my favorite thing to do is put my fav characters in different outfits. I try to imagine what I’d see them in for daily wear and kinda take it from there— even if it doesn’t translate or look right, conceptualizing regardless it is a step in the right direction to finding something else that DOES fit
I have pin boards for inspiration of fashion too and some irl book refs I look to a lot

poor dude has been lobotomized so many times, probably every time either N remembers too much or Cyn/AS's dramatic ass reveals themselves to eat the planet theyre terrorizing (I like to think each time N tried to fight back to stop her which results in a "your backups will forgive me") which we know has happened to 2 other planets other than Earth/C9— there HAS to be some lasting effects with his memory banks imo

Ok, from the original ask "Leaving them out there just means there gonna hunt more worker drones for food," was the risk I was referring to I doubt canon sources will ever truly give us a Why Does J act like That explanation outside of this ask from Liam's server
I'm sharing my headcanons and thoughts for a story for fun in my free time. When I'm ready to give my thoughts on J and her long time grieving and coming to terms with who and what she became, I will! She'll have her time, just not now and not with V, N, Uzi, or Cyn.

J isn't the only one who's a risk; they all are by nature. This is especially true when V has episodes, N struggles with memory relapse, or Uzi can't control herself in the struggles of being the primary Host. Sometimes, when they're outside and see an unfamiliar Drone in the distance, instincts and muscle memory take over.
Sucks, but WDs are by nature their food source. The Bunker can offset some of that need for hunting but can't ever slake it permanently.
What is J's reaction to Cyn?
This is incredibly disjointed and old but they had a run-in one time.
Uzi and Cyn were at the Spire looking for something, didn't expect J to be there or to attack first, it was the first time they'd seen J since that battle.
She didn't stay long because she knew she was outmatched, but did give some food for thought before running off.

YES OUGHH,,, So many of my friends are INCREDIBLE writers; I tend to find fics I like and reread them often because I'm insane and read very fast, so I go through a lot of content, not much I haven't read yet in terms of my TBR list
