Lady Hecate, almighty goddess of the crossroad, Lady of the night, ruler of witchcraft, hear me as I speak this to you

Hear me, hear my pleas for strength following this year

Please—guide me into the right direction, and guide me to a path of endurance, and empowerment

Help me to rid of anyone who's ever wronged me, who has ever been toxic to me, to persevere despite everything I may ever be put through

Help me, to keep my head lifted, no matter what I may lose, and no matter what may happen or shift in my life

Help me to be strong, to see my own strength, and to persevere despite my struggles and the issues with my mental health

Honorable, lovable Goddess—hear me, and assist me in strength for the coming year

Help me persevere through whatever may happen in 2025, and help me see the good in the following year—help me to endure anything and to be strong despite how the world may become

Beginner’s Guide to Hellenic Polytheism

I KNOW this is a really long post but my intention was to just note down everything that I think is important for beginners and that’s A LOT. It took me forever to learn some of these things but they’re so important, so buckle in. I hope this helps some people.

Tiktok is probably one of THE WORST places to learn about REAL hellenic polytheism because it is rampant with misinformation and most creators are only interested in views and parroting misinformation THEY heard. Yes there are some great and informative creators on there to learn about the hellenic gods but they are far and few in-between.

INSTEAD if you're new to the religion and have no clue where to start researching/learning, here are a few phenomenal creators on here with wonderful and informative posts!

Hey *hand on shoulder* you know that Greece, along with most of the balkan countries, has been under ottoman turkish rule for more than 400 years? You know that Greece today has many economic problems today, despite it's history being rich?

You know that Greece is very prone to forest fires and natural disasters?

Also, do you know that Greece, along with Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Montenegro... They are all protesting against corruption, and no one talked about it.

You talk about wanting to have temples to worship in modern day, but you don't care about the land that those temples would be built on?

Greece may be an Orthodox Christian country. But trust me, the gods are still very much living there. Their spirit is still there. Poseidon is still ruling the waves, Zeus is still watching over in the sky, Demeter is taking care of the crops.

All i am asking is... Spread awareness. I am saying this on behalf of my greek friend, firstly, who has complained to me about their issues not being heard. LEARN HISTORY. STUDY CURRENT WORLD EVENTS. SEND LOVE TO THE LAND OF GREECE, WHO HAS ENDURED GREAT HARDSHIPS.

When I was Christian, I never understood the idea of Prayer, I never clicked I didn't think anyone was listening. And now, I wait, very excitedly, for the time every night when I get to say my nightly prayer to Lady Aphrodite, and any other deities I may need guidance from, or just want to pray to.

I've come a long way and I'm proud of it.

I’m so glad this religion exists and isn’t lost to time. I listened to a hymn to Hermes today and I’m just so overcome with emotions. We worship beautiful gods. Kind gods. Gods who care about us and want us to succeed. I’ve seen so much proof that this religion is real. It blows my mind every time. I adore the gods I worship. I live for them. And I would die for them. This religion is so much more than I could ever ask for. It’s such a great honor to worship the gods.
