Author’s Note: omg this feels like it took me literal years to write (aka two and a half months). i genuinely don’t know why it took me so long because i do love this story and i’m so happy to be back in it again. i missed this chaotic emotional multiverse mess more than i realized 🥲 thank you if you’re still here and reading! part 3 is coming i swear. probably in less than two months. maybe. hopefully. don’t quote me. i promise there will be more bucky in it <3
There was something too clean about the air.
Not sterile like antiseptic or bleach. No, this wasn’t a hospital. It was worse. Filtered. Engineered. Scrubbed of anything human. No trace of breath or sweat or the phantom cling of coffee to cheap carpet. Just the cold, mechanical hum of recycled air dragging itself through ducts and vents and hidden spaces in the walls. Air that didn’t belong to people. Air that belonged to systems.
You knew immediately this wasn’t a police station.
your writing always transports me so the irony of having a fic that actually transports me is both hysterical and genius. i said this about part one but i'll continue saying it for part two, your mind and ability to create plots that are so insanely immersive and creative is incredible

i'm so sorry i've been gone! if you've checked my blog you know that i recently started SSRI's that have been making me extremely tired and kind of numb?? like absolutely no thoughts in this head, sleeping for 8-10 hours at night and then an additional 2-3 during the day. it's been a rough transition
this week has been a lot better so i'm hoping to get back to writing soon (another night of having my document open and staring at it lol)
i've missed you all!
it's absolutely insane to me that 400 of you are back since I deleted my blog in October and decided to start fresh. while we are a far cry from the almost 900 followers I had before, it's almost halfway! that's kinda crazy. you're all ridiculous but you're mine.
tumblr has really become a place for me to explore the things I love and break away from frankly a lot of ick going on in my world irl, and I'm glad to be here. and that you are a part of it.
you chose to stick with me when I deleted and when I changed interests (Logan -> Bucky). you did that. if I could hug all of you, I would. instead i'll just cry into my electrolyte water and Listerine breath freshener spray that I saw Seb using in an interview and have feels.
and since you've endured, I'm gonna let you choose how we celebrate this milestone of almost-halfway-to-where-I-was-before event. it's only fair, I torture you enough around here.
-> Q&A: whether this is regard to me, my writing process, shooting the shit, OCs, why I decided to stan the Winter Soldier, film, you name it, I'm here for it. world's your oyster. -> throwback: you pick from my masterlist any of my works and universes that exist, and I write a snippet either continuing that pairing or something that would tie in with them. -> behind the scenes: force my hand to prioritize a fic from my WIPS folder. -> drabble requests: just like it sounds, a good old fashioned you pick the prompt from a list, I write the drabble. -> how it should have ended: you choose any of the fics form my masterlist and I write an alternate ending. -> crossover challenge: I have some different fandom universes I love, and I think many of them would be fun to crossover! you choose from a list two fandoms and I cross them over in little drabble scenes. -> what's next, Mare: I share snippets from all my WIPS from my list. -> skip ahead: you choose a fic from my series list (or my masterlist list, they're all contained universes of their own and could have endings) and I write the ending. -> change my @: exactly how it sounds. you dare me to change my handle and I obey.
