You loved your boyfriend, he was nearly perfect. He could do almost anything he tries, he has the most beautiful smile and angelic voice. His only flaw, he’s a year older than you. Well, of course he has more than that, but that’s not important. What was important was when it came to the summer before your senior year, he was about to start college. You were more than happy for him, but it was eating you alive to think how far he was going to be. Now here you were, standing in front of him with watery eyes. You told yourself you wouldn’t cry, but he was about to board a plane and you didn’t know when you’d physically see him again. He was giving his hugs to his family, holding himself together till he got to you.
When he saw your eyes, a tear fell down his cheek. You let out a small sob, holding your arms out when he walked towards you. Grabbing your hands, Heeseung pulled you into his arms. His tight embrace was most likely what you’ll remember from this moment. He kissed the top of your head, trying to not get your hair wet from his tears. You looked up at him, trying to smile the best you could. He laughed, wiping the tears from your eyes with his thumb. “Don’t go.” You mumbled, feeling your heart already yearn for him. He couldn’t say anything, he knew he would’ve broke down if he did. Instead, he held you tightly in his arms till he heard the last call for his flight.
