Masterlist

This is a masterlist for my written content!

And if you like any of these, I have a Discord server that I'm working on putting content in! It's pretty chaotic, but it's fun!

While there is some overlap between series, since they all take place within the same universe, they can be read independently of each other.

Also, Stay down, doesn't really have an order to be read in, It's very up in the air and a bit jumbled. So while some context may be lost, it can essentially be read in any order (as it stands right now. This may change later.)

Noticing Trauma sentence starters

Feel free to alter dialogue to suit your muse!

  • “That really spooked you.”
  • “I don’t want to pry, but.. I want you to know I also want to listen, if you want someone to talk to.”
  • “Well, pretend I’m not here. What would you say if nobody could hear it?”
  • “Does this happen a lot?”
  • “Hey, what happened between you two?”
  • “When is the last time you ate?”
  • “Is this okay?”
  • “Hey.”
  • “This is the third meal you’ve missed this week, are you okay?”
  • “[Name]?”
  • “What did he/she/they do?”
  • “This … hurts you.”
  • “You don’t feel safe, here.”
  • “When you look at [trigger], you… what is that?”
  • “What can I do?”
  • “You were crying in your sleep.”
  • “What do you dream about?”
  • “Whenever you get stressed, you do this thing with your hands. What is it?”
  • “You’re right, I don’t understand, yet. Will you help me?”
  • “Should I leave a light on for you?”
  • “I brought you some water.”
  • “I won’t judge you.”
  • “It doesn’t have anything to do with trust. You don’t have to tell me. But I’ll listen, if you do.”
  • “Count your breaths with me, okay? Ready? One, two, three, four…”
  • “I’m here.”
  • “Talk to me.”
  • “You don’t need to tell me everything. I just want to know how I can help.”
  • “Let me hold your hair back, at least.”
  • “You used to love that [item].”

Concept of a villain wounded so badly they aren't recognizable anymore, with the hero finding and taking them in, only to realize who they are helping later on, as conflicting emotions such as anger, fear and genuine empathy arise in them, safe me

I need you

Please

Please safe me concept of a villain wounded so badly they aren-

We talk about aching of old wounds and breaks that pulsate in throbing unrelenting anguish years after…

But I’m here to posit that the worst kind of haunting wound is nerve damage. Nerve damage spasms in electric like stabs that feel raw from the very first shock. Nerve damage feels like you’re being electrocuted at any given moment and the pain receptors are eternally sharp and much too sensitive, unlike the throbbing that eventually dulls into bluntness of the aforementioned aches.

Nerve damage makes your whole body twitch if it is unexpected and significant enough, even if you’ve had a thousand before that should have primed you to hide it.

Nerve damage feels like glass is embedded inches into your skin, waiting like shrapnel to cut in afresh at every movement.

Nerve damage doesn’t just remind you of your past but haunts you with shocking clarity like the first time every time.

There is so much potential for villain whump where the villain develops a chronic illness.

Not something fixable, but definitely treatable. But because of their pride (or fear of supervillain deciding they’re useless), they do everything in their power to keep people from noticing. Noticing that they’re losing weight, that they run out of breath too quickly, that they now avoid direct combat.

I’ve mainly been thinking about this because I have developed gastroparesis and before I knew what it was my symptoms were HORRIBLE. Chronic dehydration is a big part of gastroparesis, turns out.

For a villain, I’m thinking gastroparesis caused by nerve damage sustained during an abdominal operation to treat an injury sustained during a fight.

Probably a more uncommon cause of gastroparesis, but diabetes is very hard to ignore without dying immediately (from my experience with a diabetic family member, maybe that’s not universally the case).

I guess hypothyroidism is also a narrative possibility but I think it being indirectly caused by the heroes is very whumpy >:)

But dealing with dehydration, malnutrition, and vomiting+stomach pain WHILE being tired to hell and back is very whumpy as well

Tragedy strikes: I Need whump of two of my specific OCs I've never shared anywhere but I have no concrete ideas and no focus to write so all I can do is rotate them around in my brain at increasing speed

April is the Cruelest Month 2025

Day 3: Can't speak
Day 7: Panic attack
CW: implied past abuse, muzzles, panic attack, trauma, disassociation, verbal shutdown

"No incidences to report. The public seems engaged and I'm sure word will spread."

"Excellent work. This has been a tremendous help," Mr. Galloway praised, the copper bangles on his wrists jingling as he clapped his hands together. "Please follow me to my office, I'll have your payment ready for you."

Gajeel had to admit, the three day museum job turned out better than he'd thought it'd be. Levy had snatched the request flier the moment her eyes caught the words 'ancient artifacts', not batting an eye at the reward money. Droy didn't take much convincing either. Nerds, the both of them.

Never, Never is out now!

Never, Never by Callie Taylor, aka @befuddled-calico-whump

James has lost his ship and crew to Peter, his first mate. Now he’s forced to play Peter’s games. And Peter’s games are bloody. This retelling of Peter Pan flips the classic story on its head and asks the question: what if Peter Pan was the bad guy?  This is the fourth book in the 12 Months of Whump series. Each month in 2025, look out for a new standalone whumpy book!

It's here!!!

So, I didn't see a place to like... Leave a review? So y'all are getting it here.

First off, it was a fairly quick read! I was able to read the entire book in a few hours. And it was worth every minute of it.

Do be warned, without spoilers, there is fairly descriptive gore scene towards the beginning of the book and again towards the end. But it's well written and not just for shock value. And you can really feel how visceral the pain is. I'm usually not a big fan of gore, but I was prepared going in and it was very well done.

Onto the story itself.

I absolutely loved the characters. Of course James is my favorite, unsurprisingly. But I very much enjoyed Jeddy as well as a complex character. I also adored Peter's characterization. He's so... Whimsical in the most disturbed way possible and I love him.

The plot itself was very good too! You can really only do so much with such a short book, but what it accomplished it did very well. It felt very well thought out and it followed through on it's promises.

I won't spoil the ending but it is... A tragedy is perhaps too strong a word, but it fits it best. But it does not give up it's hope for a brighter future. I thought it was very befitting and narratively sound.

I say, if you have a few bucks to spend, it's well worth it.

I love when whumpees are in stress positions but they're not tied up. They don't need to be, because they will hold it of their own accord. Whumper could leave them alone and they'd still maintain position until they physically can't anymore.

Thoughts on noncon kissing

-jaw grabbing

-alternatively, throat grabbing

-making whumpee initiate it

-switching between two whumpers, giving whumpee no break

-whumper tastes like cigarettes/alcohol/etc

-shotgunning

-hurting whumpee until they open their mouth in pain to kiss them

More thoughts on noncon kissing

-forcing 2 whumpees to kiss

-noncon kissing + forced intoxication

-delusional whumper getting mad at whumpee for not kissing them willingly

-whumpee faking passion in a kiss to get out of worse punishment

-whumper kissing whumpee in front of caretaker/significant other

-kissing purely as a show of power or dominance instead of lust or attraction

-soft, “comforting” kisses in between torture

-kissing to muffle a scream

-kissing to muffle a scream (I really like this one)

-kissing as a means of suffocation
