Day 18: Evening

When evening falls in Ul’dah, the labyrinthian stone reveals slices of the most perfect rose-and-forget-me-not sky. It’s almost enough to convince a soul to stay…if one forgot about just how hot and dry the place was on even a good day.
Not that Aelaeis had house hunting on the mind. No, he had s certain appointment to keep before he could go off and finish list to do list for the day…

The angle I REALLY wanted for this shot wasn’t possible. Mods call sweetly in siren song once again…

Junelezen Day 30: Free Choice

Ali's Carbuncles

Thank you to @akirakirxaa for the final 2 gpose pics of Alinea and her carbuncles playing around!

I decided that the best way to finish off this wonderful month of Junelezen was to celebrate my carbuncles. They're my favorite creatures and I love that I've now been able to give them personalities :)

I've written a bit about Alinea's carbuncles and their abilities, which I'll include under the fold. I wrote this when I first started coming up with Alinea's backstory, so I'm glad I get to share this.

Thank you for sticking around through Junelezen!! It's been wonderful to share more about Alinea and her life! Every like, comment, and reblog has meant the world to me!

Junelezen Day 3: Breakfast

Sometimes it's in the house, and sometimes it's on the go, Even occasionally at a cafe. I don't eat a lot, so there's not much to say. It's the same few things, but I don't think much of it. Except for how it used to be a luxury.

junelezen day 30: free choice.

i threw together this little space before the maintenance. i got the house relatively recently, and decided not to officially decorate it until later, because of the eventual slot increase. i love decorating though, and enjoy making tiny temporary builds, especially for photos. i thought this could serve as a nice posing spot, or a moment to rest, as i like to use my apartments and personal homes as quiet places to go when i need it. here's to a new expansion.

Day 28: Homecoming

The haze parts and clears as feet touch again on familiar ground. Crickets chirp in the tall grasses. Water rushes and falls down into lakes. Wisteria blows in the breeze, as sounds of muffled laughter and amber light glows from inside windows. A plate smashes. A voice squawks, and others raise in excited berating.
Aelaeis remembers how to breathe again. He’s home.

Never a dull day at the Henhouse, not if any of his family have aught to say about it. Rhan’s gonna have to sweep up whatever he broke—and Rusk is gonna help for egging him on.

It’s good to have someone to come home to.

Day 30: Freedom

It’s been another wonderful, beautiful year in FFXIV. Shout out to all the amazing people who keep this star turning, storytellers like spotofmummery and the junelezen team. But especially thank you to my Free Company, Triad, its wonderful people, my mentors— not least of all Blue, Sam and @venusbeautyshock —as well as the sprouts I’ve pulled in myself like T’ahlin, Aud and @brokenpocketwatch.

May there be many more wonderful years and adventures ahead!
