here at destiel tumblr dot edu we love to say "there's no heterosexual explanation for this". except well you see, there is. that's why we're in this mess in the first place. every homoerotic scene in supernatural is designed to also have a heterosexual explanation, no matter how far fetched and strained. and the general audience will inevitably choose that explanation over the simpler, gayer one. call that nohomo's razor (title is still a work in progress)
