The first time he aged up, they weren't, but he also wasn't exactly, well, you know, AWAKE for the whole process of having his ears pierced (like Rauru wtheck?) and thus he didn't realize it even happened.

When he grew up the second time, he didn't realize that was exactly something you had to do if you wanted to wear earrings, so he didn't get it done, he just sort of waiting to hit seventeen, sort of just assuming he could wear earrings then. It sounds silly, but it was entirely logical in his head, and since he never mentioned it to anyone, there wasn't a chance for someone to correct him until he actually turned seventeen and got a bit confused.

Malon offered to help him pierce his ears, but in the end, he's been wearing clips for so long now, and while losing them occasionally is a pain, he does like that if they catch on something he doesn't get hurt/distracted, so he just decided not to get them pierced at all.

None of the boys know about this, but Time is biding his, well time, until the day he can freak them out by randomly yanking an earring off and then watching the resulting freak-out/wince-fest/worry of the other heroes.

Because I also do that randomly and I think he'd get a kick out of it >:)

I'm coming up on finishing the series for the fourth time since I first finished in 2018 bro‼️ this is my comfort show (AND IT'S BEING TAKEN OFF NETFLIX I HAD TO BORROW A FRIEND'S ACCOUNT TO WATCH IT SOBS)

Pidge and Keith are really cool characters too though... I love how Keith interacts with the others :] like his friendship with Hunk isn't ever talked about but they're one of my favorite duos in the entire show 😭

THATS SO REAL!! They r my comfort characters. T-T I love the found family troupe the show has.

YES KEITH AND HUNK'S RELATIONSHIP IS SO SWEET! I hadn't noticed it until this rewatch. XD Also Keith is a lot sillier than the fandom made him out to be in 2018 XD He's an angry little guy but also a silly angry little guy XD.

Also I love how much the others care about Pidge. T-T She;s the youngest and they love her so much T-T . They also trust her so much! I also love how much Pidge cares about them too IHRWAF In the trash ep of season 2 when she made them bc she missed them MY HEART.
