the first five minutes of a seven minute dictated memoir entry regarding the coup in saigon and the deaths of ngo dinh diem and ngo dinh nhu, briefly interrupted by john jr. november 1963.
okay this is one of my favorite jfk audios. the coup against the diem government was one of kennedy's more controversial foreign policy decisions; this seems to be a fairly genuine articulation of his uncertainty and, to some extent, regret regarding his administration's handling of it.

i lowkey feel really bad for the kennedy family bc of how much everyone talks about the jfk assassination as if jack wasn’t a real person who was brutally murdered, and was just some sort of ragdoll in his own death. and keep in mind, they were never given a heads up that these files were coming out. just because they’re a famous family doesn’t mean they should have to give up every single bit of privacy regarding things like this just bc the people want it

they were both massive figures during the space race and reached new heights with space exploration and funding for said explration ,both should get their flowers in that regard! I always think about how risky the first tests for interplanetary travel were ,how uncertain the chances of survival were ..and people sacrificed for them anyway! without the great people who gave themselves up for spaceflight we would absolutely not be here in science and technology. Astronauts deserve the world (and neil armstrong too but ur school didnt gaf i see)

well I can't say much abt this unfortunately ,since i myself dont know much about bobby LOL but from the images and texts ive seen from my mutuals ..it is probably kerry i think 😭
and to be fair he did have eleven children! I can't imagine being one of the left out kids tho. Like being outshined by/competing with ten other siblings sounds like hell on earth .. i personally would not put my kids (and wife) through that if i were him ,but of course it was the sixties and families were different then as for david kennedy i have no idea ,sorry!
