[OC] Proud To Autistic (Autism Awareness Day)

Autism Acceptance Month is here and since I’m Autistic, I have a lot of good qualities. I’m talented, creative, smart, independent, and a hard worker because I have been job practicing IRL. I am very happy to know that there are many other people who have the same disability as me. It makes me feel proud of myself knowing I’m not alone.

Man, I did not expect two things to come out on the same day on the 30th of March.

The first thing is the show Invader Zim. I’d thought I give it some appreciation in honor of its twenty fourth anniversary. I really like the art style and the stories of the episodes. I really like how it’s a kids show but has dark elements, I’m a sucker for some edge! That’s not only that, it gets wacky and fun to watch when Gir is around along with Zim’s lovable personality. Speaking of Gir, he’s the most iconic robot character, especially in his disguise. Without him, there wouldn’t be so much merchandise of him. I also really enjoyed the Netflix movie Enter The Florpus that came out in 2019. Looking back at it, it almost feels like a series finale and a three part special.

The next thing I want to talk about it Spooky Month: Hollow Sorrows, which is the sixth the sixth episode and I can hardly believe it has been one year since this came out. This has got to be my favorite episode so far! Moloch has retuned and we got a see Father Gregor who was a priest.

I was happy to see Radford again in the episode. Besides all of that, it was very intense seeing Moloch’s rampage possessing many people. This included Patty, Roy, Kevin (poor guy needs a break), and Skid and Pump themselves!

Plus, I did not expect things to get so heartbreaking!!! This included Lila’s and Father Gregor’s argument and he even had the nerve to call her a bad mother even though she is trying her hardest due to the loss of her husband. It’s very difficult due to her not having control of her son.

Not only that, Pump and Susie’s parents are too busy to care about them due to their job and that just makes me feel terrible for them and furious at them!

Just when I think it couldn’t get any sadder, I was wrong. Skid apologizing and saying he wants to be better absolutely crushed me! Lila hearing this breaks down crying hugging him made it even more sad! I was NOT expecting that ending to put the cherry on top of all of the angst in that episode.

To lighten up the mood it was very sweet seeing Ross and Robert cheering up Roy and seeing Radford and Kevin’s dynamic. It was cute seeing him copy Kevin’s expressions and I’m glad he saved Kevin from being possessed. I am also very happy to see Streber alive!

Yes, for this to work, creators need to tag their works accordingly, so that people know what sort of content they are about to engage with and can nope out if necessary.

I will probably make another PSA about the importance of proper tagging later.

Happy Third Anniversary To The Sun and Moon Show

I can’t believe it has been three years since the channel and series has came out on Youtube. It of course has the two iconic characters along with some new and fanmade ones, the videos and livestreams on their channel always get me hooked. Plus, there’s also great voice acting from Davis and Reed. I’m really happy I’ve found this series and joined the TSBS Discord Server!
