The last of the AU! Unicorn and Shark
You think with a name like Unity Unicorn she’d be more elegant-like, but she’s far from it. She’s unpredictable, straightforward, and chaotic. Nobody knows what she’ll do next whether it’s something light like arson or something major like pulling a prank.
Just like her name suggests, Shareshark loves sharing. She often brings candy with her just to give them to her friends or even people she doesn’t know. She’s also driven by instinct, if she wants it badly enough then her body will act before her brain will.
Unity, like Pixie, will not hesitate to state her opinion. But unlike Pixie, she’s doing it out of malice, of spite even. She’s never kind to anyone, not to her friends or family. But maybe, in some twisted way, it’s how she shows her love.
Despite being impulsive, she gets embarrassed by her own behavior and actions afterwards. Personality wise, Shasha (shareshark’s nickname) is shy and timid but you often forget about that when she’s around her friends.
Here's a headcanon/lore dump if you don't mind
Pristine comes from a long line of artsy peafowl. Her dad's a famous filmmaker and opera singer, her mom's a renowned fashion designer (where do you think she got her sense of style?) and her older brother is an actor most well-known for horror movies (*cough* something that draws Simon's ire because Poe is obsessed with said films *cough*). They're all actually really nice, despite the occasional classist gaffe, much to her embarrassment

Though, I'll admit; I never thought of actually giving her a family, but I like this idea,, especially w/ the family all being involved with the arts programs

If I were to go through w/ this idea, I'd wanna think that Pristine's family is quite welcoming to anyone, however they're a bit wary of Icky (at least the parents) due to them somehow knowing that their lil peafowl has a bit of history with this frog.
Pristine's brother would be rather chill w/ Icky + treat him like a lil bro, but at the same time be protective of Pristine (more likely when Icky first meets the family)
(I could just see Icky being scared shitless of meeting Pristine's fam cuz bro don't wanna make a bad first impression lol)

The Hare and the Crocodile
Riley Bunny’s your average plain gal. If she’s told to do something she’ll do it, but only the bare minimum. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or not, just as long as she gets it done, right?
Crisscross Crocodile says “Exercise daily!” This guy goes above and beyond at anything. He’ll always do his best even if it’s not needed. After all, it’s much more fun to give it your all!
Riley may act the way she does but she’s actually quite special herself. She’s a fast learner and can easily memorise something just by simply looking once. But the reason for that is so she can avoid doing the same thing multiple times. She’d rather get it over with so she can go back to napping at noon.
Criss is pretty capable, too capable sometimes. He’s been told to hold back before because he’s too passionate about a simple chore. Criss doesn’t mind though, in fact it’s kinda flattering. At the end of the day, all he wants is to have fun and be able to use his hard work and talent for other people.

Well, I definitely see where you're coming from and I could see that, but she's actually pretty smart! I mean, her and Icky's relationship was never really the falling in love blindly thing at first, she was wary of what the frog is capable of...that was until she (and him) started gaining feelings,,
...Though, you do have a point with the card games.
With some of them, like poker, she has NO IDEA what she's doing,, Yet, she somehow always comes out on top when playing...which usually leads up to a table getting flipped in the end.

Time for another pair of critters, this time it’s Catnap and Poe. These two make the swapping theme more apparent
Have you been feeling unlucky? Maybe you’ve been cursed, or perhaps it’s the work of Curse himself. This mischievous little feline is infamous for messing up someone’s day no matter how minor of an inconvenience it is. The cat thrives off the misery of others and likes playing with his prey.
Birdrest, A calm and peaceful bird with an unusually long tail. They’re oftentimes seen napping on branches or sitting near cliffs. They may not talk but their actions alone can tell a story, yet at the same time they’re quite mysterious. And above all, Birdrest can hold a grudge. So make sure to avoid angering the raven.
Curse can be quite a drama king. Whenever his plans are foiled he drops to the floor and shed tears while creating a fake sob story about his backstory that everyone has learned not to take seriously since it sounds very fake and obviously a lie.
Birdrest is usually easy to be around with. But there are times where the atmosphere around them becomes uncomfortable to stay in. This rarely happens and nobody is sure what the cause could be. But whenever it happens, their friends will be by their side.

Starting off with our leaders, thats right, completely incompatible and polar opposites, I’ve chosen Baba Chops and Dogday.
There’s supposed to be a theme with who swapped with who but that doesn’t apply to these two in this case. ahem anyways—
Sheepshine, eager to start the day off with a bang! She’s full of confidence and enthusiasm, which is why she’s a natural with making friends and is considered a great leader!
Bark Bones, no matter the time or day, he’ll somehow find a way to ruin the mood with his strict and sarcastic attitude. He always grumbles about being forced to partake in their silly games.
Well at least, that’s what they want you to believe.
The moment Sheepshine finds herself alone, she becomes an entirely different person. She becomes quiet and exhausted, as if the moment no one has eyes on her, her life is drained from her body. She’s ashamed of this side of her and refuses to be seen in this state. After all, she’s the leader, and a leader cant be seen looking like this.
On the other hand, despite Bark Bones’s rough exterior, he’s actually quite fond of playing with his friends and moving around. But he finds it embarrassing to be passionate or being seen as having fun, so he hides under the guise of “being forced” and using rude remarks as a way to keep his “strong and strict leader” persona.
Two sides of a coin, those two.
