I was wondering what I was doing while drawing this and I thought- Quickshadow’s not really a rescue bot, she’s a special operations agent. It’s almost as if she’s a rescue bot as a part time job. She must have been stationed on earth for quite a while, maybe even before Sigma Seventeen crashed on Earth (I forgot when that was exactly, if anyone can tell me that pls lemme know). Anyways, I thought about how Quickshadow would switch back and forth between being a rescue bot and a behind-the-lines agent. Conflicts were definitely still going on between citizens and the high council during RiD (forgot what season) and TFRB season 4. One of her identities may have been outcasted as a supporter of Optimus, ( @rescuebabiesau mentioned this ) allowing her to sneak back to Cybertron, praying nothing more went wrong after the war. Maybe some things have gone wrong while Quickshadow was gone, and she might feel the weight of losing touch with her home planet and letting any stability slip past her digits.

He was first laughed at, then sobbed over the second they were alone.
