Ciao! Hi, I'm Gigi (she/her). I'm terrible at writing intros and the gift of synthetis isn't my strongest suit.

I love pink, Taylor Swift, k-pop and spending time with friends. I also do have a full time job that makes me a sad corporate girlie made to live her dreams and forced to work.

I grew up reading a lot and a lot of fantasy. I stumbled over the Empyrean Series by accident and here we are months later. Still obsessed.

Never thought I would return on tumblr (which I'm loving it) and I never ever thought I would open an AO3 page. And here we are.

There was her face and her name on Navarre News' instagram page. She had never been on their feed before, if not for a tiny old scrap of memory during the last Oscars, when the magazine had celebrated her mother's accomplishments posting a series of throwback pictures — including one of Violet at ten, walking behind the great Lilith Sorrengail on the red carpet with her whole family.
But that didn't count, she didn't have her front teeth in that photo and she had been smiling wide with not a care in the world.
This one? This one was a totally different ordeal.

I was tagged by the lovely @maethologies !! with the number 6 and since my sixth paragraphs aren't really going anywhere (lol), have 6 paragraphs from this:

Dain scratches a hand on the short trimmed beard on his cheeks and sighs. Gods, he hopes she’s not going to be a noisy neighbor. But the smile she’s gifting him, squashes the feeling immediately. She cracks the door open a little more and Dain can see the entirety of her figure now, blonde hair coming past her shoulders, braided. The color reminds him of the vast wheat fields around his family’s countryside mansion. Home. “I’m Sloane.” she shakes a hand free of flour on her apron, then extends it toward him.  “Dain.” he replies, taking it on reflex and shaking it once. “Sorry, I didn’t know you were moving in. Carr was…an old piece of something. Luckily, he chose to leave this Earth and free us all. The apartment has been empty since, I didn’t even know they were selling it.” Sloane explains, shrugging.  The absolute sincerity in her tone, as the lack of remorse for the words she’s giving the late tenant, makes Dain smile a little. He tilts his head on the side, curious. “You didn’t get along?”  She snorts. “Not getting along is a very kind way to put it. He tried to poison my cat once.”

My unrequested two cents about the whole RB fiasco is that it should be illegal to switch drivers from different teams that easy. You have reserve drivers for a reason.

And yet RB has this whole other pool of drivers on the grid, it exploits regurarly and no one says anything. I don't remember Ferrari pulling a similar stunt in recent years with Haas. Or the contrary on that matter.

Plus, it's only been two races.

Horner made the decision to retire Ricciardo mid-season last year (the only driver capable to take the second seat at RB and replace Perez imho) and tested a kid on a car that it's easier to drive, before bringing him along to the main team.

I'm no fan of Lawson, I think he has to grow a lot, but switching him with Yuki and bringing Yuki to the main team after just two races, could damage both drivers.

If Yuki does perform (in his home race nonetheless, imagine the pressure), everyone will just say Lawson was the problem. If Lawson outqualifies Yuki in the Racing Bull and Yuki doesn't make a good impression, then where does that leave them?

You can't have three drivers on a team. You're neither allowing the drivers to grow and feel the car. You're just destroying their confidence.

But Sawyer just keeps going, putting them deeper into their misery.  “The main trilogy is completed. There are faeries and magic,” he explains, looking each and every one of them right in the eye. Xaden has the unsettling feeling he’s not going to like what's coming. Liam snickers from the door. “Good luck, Aetos.”  Dain groans, hands in his hair. “Fuck you, Mairi.”
