HOLY SHIT, IT WAS THE ORIGINAL ONE
MAKE A WISH
the first post ever on tumblr
I WAS EXPECTING IT TO BE A REMAKE OF SOME SORT HOLY FUCK
WHO THE FUCK KEEPS BRINGING THIS BACK
reblog this because it shows up every blue moon
Blue moon, in a blue sky.
so i don't post here much despite this being my main blog
but i think it's super important to talk about the fact that i am disabled.
i have a heart condition that has been dumbed down to severe tachycardia. my resting heart rate is higher than average at about 90bpm on a good day (70-80 is average for most people). doing something as simple as getting dressed can cause my heart rate to rise above 110. walking, going up stairs, and any other simple "exercise" can--and has--made my heart rate peak above 190. this is soon followed by a crash, putting me below 55bpm.
after going to a cardiologist and a specialist, we believe that the issue is actually with my autonomic nervous system, meaning there's nothing i can do to fix it. no medications, no surgeries, nothing.
this has severely affected my life and how i live it. i can't work most places, as they expect me to stand and walk around with few breaks (yay america). i can't go to the mall with friends or walk around a park. i have trouble making it through my college classes without losing consciousness. i can't live a normal life.
this is my reality, and people need to be aware that this is how i live. how people like me live.
thank you for reading.
