NOTE: While the Rafah border currently remains closed (with hopes of it reopening in the future), the cost of living in Gaza is extremely high, which means people need funds to survive, feed their families, get warm clothes for the winter.

The situation in Gaza is dire, the invasion on the city of Rafah is imminent and there is nowhere else to go, as Rafah is the city at the very south of Gaza, at the border with Egypt.

In order to not bother you anymore with randomly popping up posts for each story (and because i didn’t like the most recent covers lol), I decided to make a neat masterpost for the entire verse I’m still working on, titled All blessings counted, no countings blessed.

It revolves around very late s6 and early s7. Tags and warnings for each story can be found on AO3, but it can be summed up as heavy abuse and coercion-oriented angst with a side of dry gallows humor sometimes. Not really a  destiel story, more like the tale of how it falls apart and why.

maybe we'd all get normal about amara appearing as "dean's darkest desire" when it finally clicks that dean's feelings for cas aren't a dark fucked up secret, they're just something he thinks he's not allowed to have

#i think too much of the fandom falls into the trap of believing dean's attraction to amara is somehow consensual#or that it's non-con elements are at least comparable to experiencing same sex attraction one does not want to be experiencing#which i think is a big mistake in both analyzing the draw dean has towards amara#AND towards analyzing dean's queerness within the text#I'll say it. I think the fandom is uncomfortable with the idea that dean is attracted to a woman while being in love with cas#so they just default to ''dean isn't attracted to amara at all'' and no. he IS and it's not consensual for him!#unfortunately I think it's often easier for viewers to detect non-con when the woman is the victim#a similar situation that comes to mind as is well understood to be non-con by its audience is jessica jones and killgrave#in that show killgrave mind controls jessica into having sex with him and it's textually defined as rape#and i do wonder if#had dean and amara engaged in sex#would the spn fandom understand it would not have been consensual in the slightest??#it's not about shipping or dean being given a ''forced female love interest''#it's an exploration of dean's bodily autonomy being violated at its most base level#yes we often can't choose who we're attracted to#and if you have hangups about your attraction to people of your own gender i can imagine it feels like you don't WANT that attraction#but at its most basest level you do ENJOY that attraction even if you don't WANT to be queer#(which regardless of my argument dean does not have those hang ups imo)#dean does NOT enjoy his attraction towards amara. because it's not consensual and is not born OF HIM via (@deangirlism101)

So Nanowrimo is functionally dead

Been a while since I used this account. Honestly, there has been nothing to say. November came and went and it was a bunch of sponsor run events. It seemed like Nanowrimo had already died in the fire, and it’d been revived as a shambling corporate zombie.

The Zendesk went down today. With the Nanowrimo Facebook account now redirecting people to the Zendesk, there is no way to contact support, apart from emailing (which has not received any recent responses)

The socials are dead. Nothing is being approved.

Oh, and they forgot to renew their charitable status, which means they legally can’t accept donations.

(They still are)

Unless something changes, my last post will probably be when Nano goes offline.

I can’t say I’m mad about this. Only about the lack of accountability for any of the leadership in this mess.
