*💔 From Home to Tent: A Mother's Plea for Hope and Shelter 💔*

Hello dear friends,

My name is *Fatima Sameer*, a mother from Gaza. Before the war, my life was full of love, warmth, and dreams. I had just bought a home for my son *Abood* and me — a place we were so proud of. I used to spend my days photographing recipes, sharing them on Instagram, and dreaming of one day becoming a well-known chef.

But everything changed overnight.

The war came and destroyed the life we had built. Our home was reduced to rubble before I could even finish paying for it. I’ve been forced to flee *more than 7 times*, escaping death and destruction, and today, we are left with nothing but a *fragile tent* that offers no shelter from the cold, heat, or rain.

Our living conditions are dangerous and heartbreaking. My son Abood sleeps in the cold every night, while I struggle to keep hope alive.

To make things even harder, a previous GoFundMe campaign created by a family friend was deleted without warning. That campaign was our lifeline — and losing it has left us even more helpless.

Though a *ceasefire* may begin soon, the bombing still hasn’t stopped. Every day brings new fear. But I’m holding on to the hope that we can rebuild, step by step, with your support.

I’m reaching out to you today with a humble heart, asking for your help. All I want is to rebuild a small, safe home for Abood — a place where he can sleep peacefully again. Any support, no matter how small, means the world to us. And if you can’t donate, please consider *sharing our story*.

Together, we can bring light back into our lives.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

– Fatima 💔🙏

$15,395 / $60,000 as of April 16th, 7:31PM UTC-6; last donation being 4 hours ago. This post only has 3 notes. Please, please do what you can for Fatima and her son.

Contact me on Pinterest or Twitter if you wish to be removed. Abood and Fatima are a beautiful but small family that need your help. I’m not sure if this campaign was vetted before.

My husband has become a prisoner of the Israeli occupation😭😭

After we were besieged in Rafah for more than four days, the tent was demolished over my heads, my children, and my husband, and we were able to miraculously escape. For those whose story of escape was not complete, because they were able to capture my husband and he is now their prisoner after he was injured in his feet from the bombing. My family is now without a father, without a breadwinner for us, in light of this war and this catastrophic famine. I cannot provide food and drink for my children, nor can I provide treatment for my sick child. Please help us by donating to save us from danger.

I want to thank every person with a humane heart who helped me and my children. I hope you continue to donate to my family.

Dear Supporter,💔🍉

Hello, my name is Iman, and I am a mother of two. I live with my family in northern Gaza, where we face famine and hardship due to the brutal war on Gaza. We had a relatively peaceful life despite the challenges imposed by the long blockade on Gaza before the war.

We have been displaced eight times, moving from one school to another, and now we live a life of homelessness and hunger. Even clean water is not available. 💔😭 My children are starving and malnourished every day, and they go to bed hungry. I cry for my two-year-old daughter when she asks for milk, which we cannot provide. Her thin body lives on flour and dry bread, deprived of everything. My children crave vegetables, meat, and fruits; we have not eaten any of these for 10 months, since the war began. Our bodies have deteriorated, our bones have weakened, and my son Mohammed's chest bones are now visible, along with the vertebrae of his spine. He also suffers from scabies due to the lack of hygiene and medicine. Our bodies are covered in rashes from the heat because we live with 40 people in a small, overcrowded classroom. My children have been deprived of an education, although they all excel in their studies.

Your donations will be a beacon of hope for Iman and her family, offering them a chance to survive and live under these harsh conditions and high ك living costs. Even a very small contribution, every dollar, makes a difference in their lives. Please, join us in extending a helping hand during this difficult and challenging time.

€24,911/€82,000

= ~30%

Last donation was 2 days ago

The last donation was 3 days ago as of me writing this. Please, please do what you can for Iman and her beautiful family. They need all the help they can get and they need funds in order to get it. Contact me on Pinterest or Twitter if you wish to be removed.

i know the discussion about machine connor actually being a deviant has been had a million times before but something that makes me feel crazy about machine connor and deviant connor is that they’re both equally driven by a desire to live.

in both routes connor has a fear of failure and subsequently deactivation. the only difference is that deviant connor realizes that cyberlife will never give him the chance to truly live so he must take it into his own hands to deviate, to choose himself.

machine connor on the other hand equally has this same desire, but instead of deviating and to cope with his fear, he decides to complete his tasks for cyberlife because to him, there’s safety in familiarity. in cyberlife. he’s just grasping at straws doing their bidding simply to guarantee his life which makes it so much more devastating that he ends up getting replaced despite doing everything right. all of that for nothing at all. all of that just to meet the very fate he feared the most.

the core of his character and his inner conflicts pertaining to identity and fear and repression remain exactly the same. its just a question of: to do what’s expected of you to guarantee your safety or to take your life into your own hands and be who you truly are? (dare i say connor’s character is a queer allegory but that’s a whole other post)

Dear friends, Beloved family, and kind hearts, I come to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help. My name is Aya Almajdoub and I am reaching out today to plead for your assistance in rescuing my family and myself from the grips of an escalating conflict. The days following October 7th have been a relentless nightmare that none of us could have anticipated. That fateful day razed to the ground everything we held dear-our home, our dreams, our aspirations, and the burgeoning business we poured our hearts into expanding.
My home, along with all my cherished memories and dreams, was destroyed. Now, homeless, I struggle to find a safe place for me and for my family.Me and my husbande welcomed our first baby into the world.
While life was once filled with promise and joy, circumstances have drastically changed. Moreover, as new parents,Me and my husband are struggling to provide for our son amidst the chaos and uncertainty.
Basic necessities such as diapers, formula, and clothing are increasingly out of reach.
