the idea that bi women/nblw can't reclaim dyke is so... stupid. it's not a special slur that only lesbians get and if you think like that you're frankly just being childish. it targets bi women/nblw just as much as it targets us and to claim otherwise is reductive and reeks of lesbian separatism imo. i just assume anyone who says that is a biphobe at this point. -_-

to the lesbians in the notes getting mad: literally grow up. dyke doesn't mean lesbian and just because the wikipedia article says that doesn't change the actual lived experiences of bi women/nblw. you all need to befriend some bi people immediately and get your heads out of your asses.

let me break it down for everyone who's too willfully ignorant to get this:

- asserting that bi women would only want to use a slur to call someone else the slur instead of for the exact same reasons as a lesbian would reclaim it is biphobic.

- being a called dyke isn't about the absence of attraction to men, that's not how slurs work. it's about attraction to women. nobody is going to ask a woman if they're bi before calling them a dyke for being with another woman.

- the assertion that bi women are "available to men" is biphobic, full stop. and their attraction to men doesn't make them any less targeted by homophobes.

fellow lesbians, i need you to ask yourselves why you feel the need to separate yourselves and your experiences from that of bi women. they are not our enemies, nor do they have any power over us. we have more in common with them than not. examine your biphobia and do better.

i’ve changed my @ lol, i’m not really a bts stan anymore so yeah
